Background checks are now processed online. The new Child Protection Screening process uses Verified Volunteers in partnership with our Conference, Southeastern California Conference (SECC). This is at no cost to you. Please contact us if you have clearance or you are unsure. Volunteer clearance has to be renewed every three (3) years.

Some of the common options are Adventurers, Audio & Visual (volunteer), Bible Workers (Volunteer), Board Member – volunteer, Children Ministry, Deacon/Deaconess, Driver (Volunteer), Elder, Teacher-Sabbath Sch, Office (volunteer), Pathfinders, Vacation Bible Sch, Youth Ministries.
Any role with including Driver (volunteer), will require valid US driver’s license and your driving record will be reviewed. On approval, this allows you to drive church vehicle, or personal vehicle with passengers for Church Board approved events only. Contact Office or Ministry leader for reservation of church vehicle.
After completing online training and background check (driving record if applicable) is processed, you will be notified by email when you are cleared.
